IvicIvica Osim,（Ивица Осим） is one of the famous and very popular soccer leaders. He is originally from Yugoslavia in Sarajevo. When he was a professional soccer player, he was very fair player, because he was never taken yellow card in his days of player. He played an active part as a national team of Yugoslavia, and took part in Tokyo Olympic.
After he retired a soccer player, he became a soccer leader in a hometown. Several years later he was an assistant coach of national team and his team got a bronze medal in Los Angeles Olympic. Furthermore, he took office as a national team coach several years later. Though he missed participation of UERO in 1988, his team wonderfully got a participation of World cup in Italy, won and advanced to the best 8.
After he lead an European club team, he commanded a Jef United Ichihara/Chiba, and he let his team make rapid progress. His team got a title for the first time, and his abilities were accepted and headhunted by Japan Football Association as national team coach.
His coaching method is very unique and many national players had a hard time until they could understand his theory of soccer. He is also known as an eloquent speaker, and his words are very witty. I am a believer of his word!!
